As Thanksgiving Day approaches, we often reflect on the blessings of the year. New job, new grandchild, a passing grade, a marriage. Most would agree that 2020 has been a challenging year with the pandemic. COVID has turned our structured, everyday lives into something unrecognizable in just a few months. No, we don’t know when it will end. However, every day brings us closer to the conclusion of this chapter in our history. 🦃🍂🧡
Since COVID has put many things on hold, it is the perfect time to reflect on what makes you thankful. Focus on what you have achieved, not what you have yet to achieve, what you have, not what you want. Your successes, not your failures. Concentrating only on the most precious parts of your lives.
What are you thankful for?
“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” -Oprah Winfrey
