Helping Emily Fight

At Arbors at Stow, we pride ourselves on our ability to give our residents and family hope and comfort. Our staff puts their personal struggles aside daily to care for those who have lost the ability to care for themselves. They ensure that, no matter what is going on in their world, it does not interfere with our residents’ lives and well-being. Unfortunately, sometimes our staff are the ones that need help. One of our own is in the fight of her life. Emily, our incredibly talented Activities Director, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. She needs our help.

Yes, this news is devastating to her Arbors Family. Our hearts break for her and her loved ones. However, we find comfort from the many conversations we’ve had with Emily over the last few days. She is calm, positive, and faithful. She is fighting. She is confident. She is a warrior. Her attitude and her unmatched faith have proven to be an inspiration to us. When confronted with the unimaginable, you fight. But, you don’t need to fight alone. Emily isn’t alone. Her family, friends, church, and the Arbors at Stow stand with her. We want her focused entirely on her overall health and beating cancer. Her friends have graciously started taking donations. Please consider donating whatever you can to help our warrior. Comment below to give Emily some encouragement to keep fighting! 💚

We love you, Emily!
